Easy CrockPot Pork Roast Dinner with only 5 ingredients!
Sunday Dinners are always a big deal in our home. It is a time when we are all home and gathered. We’ve just spent the day at church. We’ve just nourished our spirits and now its time to nourish our bodies! But I also need easy since we’ve been gone to church. And everyone is hungry! So an easy crockpot Pork Roast Dinner is high on our favorite Sunday Dinner menus!
Easiest CrockPot Pork Roast
Now I love doing roasts on Sundays! Some classics include an easy Oven Pot Roast or a fun New England Pot Roast. But I really love using a Crockpot for my roasts the most! I can throw them in the slow cooker and just let them cook all day. We get ready for church. We go to church. And we come home to dinner ready! Very little effort on my part.
But sometimes you have to be careful with roasts because they can become dry if they aren’t cooked right. Especially pork roast!
This last weekend was a bad weekend for us. We just got home from a week long family reunion (so we’ve been gone all week and are exhausted). I got the stomach flu and the husband was down with a horrible head cold. To say I didn’t feel like cooking is an understatement! And he wasn’t up to the task either.
But we all still needed to eat. Pork Roast Sunday dinner to the rescue!
That morning I threw all the ingredients into the crockpot and went back to the sick bed. By afternoon it was ready. I just dumped it all into a dish and we ate. So simple! And it only took 5 ingredients!
The pork roast was moist and full of flavor too! And there is no need to mix up any homemade gravy on this one!
CrockPot Pork Roast Dinner with only 5 ingredients!

The easiest CrockPot Pork Roast dinner you will ever make! Throw in the slow cooker and walk away. Come back to a perfected dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pork roast
- 2 cans Cream of Celery Soup
- 4 Potatoes
- 2-3 Sweet Potatoes
- 1-2 cups baby carrots
Instructions
- Place the Pork Roast in the Crockpot
- Drizzle 1 can of Cream of celery soup over the roast
- Cook on high for 3 hours
- Add potatoes, sweet potatoes and carrots (and any other vegetables you want)
- Drizzle the 2nd can of Cream of celery soup over vegetables
- Cook for another 3 hours
- Dump into a dish and serve
And as I said, when it is finished just dump the contents into a big dish and let each person dish up their own. The Cream of Celery soup gives a great flavor to the vegetables so you don’t need a lot of seasonings. And it also keeps everything moist. So even your potatoes aren’t dry!
Since I’m a salt addict, I usually just sprinkle a small dash of salt on top of my potatoes and I’m good to go! The husband prefers Sweet Potatoes, so I always put those in the slow cooker too! But if you aren’t a fan of sweet potatoes than your Sunday CrockPot Pork Roast will only need 4 ingredients!
You can also add other vegetables to the dish. But these are just what my family always asks for. If I was feeling better I would have opened a can of corn and warmed it up as an extra side vegetable (not cooked in the crockpot with the rest). But it was my sick day. So I just called it good with what we had.
I use my crockpot all the time, but I don’t think I’ve ever made pork roast. This is an easy recipe I’ll have to try in the near future.

One of my all time favorite meals is a pork roast. I have not found a good crock pot recipe for it, but you know I am trying this one Amber!
Love a good pot roast. Always switch out the potatoes with yams/sweet potatoes; onions with leeks; and carrots with zucchini. Makes it allergy-friendly for us. 😀
Easy to make, only needs five ingredients and it looks great! I just might plan this for dinner next week at my place.
I love cooking a pork roast in the Crock Pot! Usually I will do something similar then shred the pork and serve it over baby red potatoes with veggies and gravy, yum!
I totally should have shredded the pork! But I was sick and lazy, so I just left it. lol. But next time!!!! Shredded would be so fun. Plus that would make the best left overs for nachos the next day! Shredded pork nachos! Yum!

Just out of curiosity, you don’t specify what kind of pork roast. It looks to me like a pork loin. Does the cut matter? Thank you
I have used all kinds of cuts, so yeah, the cut doesn’t matter much. But I do often use Pork loin, because it is what is usually on sale in my store.
