This is part of a sponsored campaign with Foodie.com featuring Sunday Dinner. As always, my thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.
One of my favorite traditions is our family Sunday Dinner. Every Sunday; we gather at my Mother-in-laws home. And we all have dinner together. Included are my Mother and Father-in-law, Sister-in-law, her husband and daughter, and my other Brother-in-law. The kids all love Sunday dinners and so do we. It is a great excuse to all gather together without the distractions of life. Sometimes we do Sunday dinner potluck style.
Potluck Sunday Dinner
When we do potluck for our Sunday dinner; I often bring a side dish or a dessert. Usually something that is easy. Because Sunday dinner is usually right after church. Who has time to come out and cook up a big meal after church? Usually it is something I can cook the day before; or throw into a slow cooker and let it cook while we are gone to church. Or my absolute favorite option: no bake! That includes jello salads, green salads, or no bake desserts like a no bake cheesecake or no bake cookies! Yum!
Come to find out Sunday Dinner is a very common time to host a potluck. When we lived in Germany; we used to have a linger longer after to church once a month. And everyone brought Potluck to share for Sunday Dinner. It was a highlight of our Sundays in Germany.
Sunday dinners are always a favorite for me. It is when I get the best food of the week. But since we all go to church, it also means they are usually some of the easiest recipes possible! Which is win-win for everyone!
Since Sunday Dinner is such a popular time to host a potluck, and with Easter coming up soon; I figured this is the perfect time to gather up some great Sunday Dinner potluck recipes! You will find some great ideas for main dishes that usually blend well with random recipes from potluck dinners. Also perfect side dishes and desserts!
If you find yourself invited to a Sunday Dinner potluck; this is your ticket! You can easily find a lot of great ideas. And all very easy to make! And will be loved by everyone!

Amber! I just came across your blog when I was looking for ideas for linger longers for our ward. It was so fun to see your picture and realize that I know you!!
I would love your suggestions for linger longer foods that people can bring that don't need to be refrigerated or cooked during church. Is that even possible??
And when you did linger longers in Germany, how did you handle table set-up and clean up and all that? It sounds so complicated and like a lot of work!! I'd love any help you can give!!
