Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
Who is in love with sorbet? I know I am! Summer is fast approaching! Or so the calendar says. I am still questioning summers arrival due to the snow on the ground. But it says spring is here and summer is right around the corner. That means an increase in frozen desserts in our house. We try to keep sugar consumption low. I know, ironic considering how many sugar treats I bake and share right? But usually we indulge in these rich sweets once every few weeks. And when I make them; I share them out to family and neighbors.
So I’m excited to share with you an amazing frozen fruit dessert that you don’t have to feel guilty about indulging in! And you can indulge and horde and NOT share! It is perfect for the upcoming warmer months to help keep you cool! Because it is all made from frozen fruit! No sugar added. No Dairy. Just pure frozen fruit. In an amazing soft serve texture!

The boys both tried a Very Berry Sorbet soft serve.

The husband and I tried out something a little more fancy. We did a Strawberry-banana Chocolate surprise.
Strawberry-Banana Chocolate Chunk Sorbet

Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana sliced
- 2-4 Frozen Strawberries -sliced
- MINI semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Place fruit in a bowl and allow to warm at room temperature for 10 minutes
- Process through Swirlio
- Sprinkle with Mini Chocolate chips
We also topped off our chocolate fruit sorbet with a few more chocolate chips. And it was quite delicious.
When we created our Strawberry-banana chocolate chunk sorbet; I actually processed the Mini chocolate chips through the machine with the fruit. The end result was quite delicious as you can see. However, it did clog up a few times due to the chocolate chips. Either chop your mini chocolate chips smaller before processing through or use maybe a chocolate syrup instead for better results.
So be aware that if you are putting chunks of nuts/chocolate/etc through they need to be smaller than mini chocolate chips to not clog the machine. Otherwise just wait until the very end and add them on top.
Next time I want to try a peach, mango, banana combination. But I’m still on the hunt for some frozen mango! And a huckleberry flavor too! Oh there are so many options for delicious Sugar free frozen fruit sorbet!
Everyone absolutely loved their frozen soft serve sorbet dessert! It really did feel like we were eating something super sweet! But without any sugar! So I had zero guilt! I can totally see us using the Swirlio multiple times a week as the weather warms up. It will be a much better alternative to the high sugary frozen treats we normally indulge in over the summer months as we try to cool down.
The texture really was quite smooth, and there weren’t any fruit chunks left over in the soft serve at all! If you want a texture more like soft serve; you will want your combination to have at least some banana. If you want more of a traditional sorbet you can remove the banana.
You can find Swirlio on BigBoss. You can also find it on Amazon. It is brand new to the market; and just in time for Summer! Also follow Swirlio on Facebook and Pinterest!

Do you know someone who could really enjoy healthier soft serve sorbet treats with Swirlio?
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Ooooh, dairy free means that my husband, who is lactose intolerant, can eat it. And boy, does it ever sound delicious, too!

How perfect this would be for me and my Hubs. I can’t eat sugar and love a healthy snack during the day. This would work out perfect since I can eat fruit. I have to look into this product. I think I found my Mothers Day Gift.
Those machines are really cute! I want one to keep at my house now.

I’d love one of those! My youngest loves sorbet and is gluten-free, so it would be well used here.

Oh my gosh, I totally need one of these. On those hot Florida days that I know are coming, it would be great to get all that yard work done on a Saturday and then hop in the pool with one of these…perfect! Thanks for the review!
Wow that looks great and yummy at the same time! <3 I wish we have one too.

This would be a big hit at our house. My hubby is big sorbet fan and my sister tends to go for sorbet with no milk since she is lactose intolerant.
Now your talking right up my alley sherbert is one of the few things I can still eat after all my health issues. I love how inexpensive it is and I can make sherbert all the time at home for the kids hubby and I.
This looks sinful! But in reality it’s pretty healthy. I love the Swirlio color options! The possibilities are endless!

that sorbet looks delicious! You have the most amazing foods and ideas on your blog!
I always use frozen fruits to create cold treats. No dairy is a must for me. I have not seen this machine, is it easy to clean? I had something similar but it was so hard to work with I gave it up.
This was super easy to clean. Two pieces twist off and super easy to wash and put back together.
I’d go with raspberry, I’m sure. That looks like such an easy process and makes for a happy summer!
The machine seems very cool. Did you mean no sugar added? Because with all fruit ingredients it is definitely not sugar free, all natural sugars but still sugar.
no sugar added is exactly what I meant. It is all natural which is the best for our body. No processed sugars added. It makes a big difference for those with blood sugar issues; migraines, or health concerns.
I love this because you can literally make it however you want. I haven’t had sorbet, but I’m definitely not adverse to fixing that little mishap. 🙂 This looks fantastic.
This sorbet looks delicious and I love the fact that you don’t add sugar for those of us who are following modified diets.
Dairy free and it looks so yummy thanks for sharing.
I need this machine. I am addicted to ice cream but am not supposed to have dairy! This is perfect!
