And the best part about snack time or treat time is the bonding experience. One thing our kids love is being involved in the kitchen. So why not combine the two! Kids in the kitchen with snack time! And let me tell you this is a simple recipe that kids can be involved in, that will surely bring a smile to their face!

S’mores Popcorn Balls Recipe with Goldfish Grahams!

Goldfish Grahams are great kid’s snacks that they love to eat and play with. They have fun shapes that kids love, and a flavor that pleases everyone. So make sure you portion out a few of the Goldfish Grahams that the kids can play with while you are waiting for the ingredients to blend together.

S’mores Popcorn Balls Recipe with Goldfish Grahams!

Make memories with kids in the kitchen by making S'mores Popcorn Balls with Goldfish Grahams. A delicious and chocolate popcorn ball that kids will love.

Cook Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoon butter
  • 40 marshmallows or 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups plain air popped popcorn
  • 1 small box chocolate pudding
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut unsweetened
  • 2 cups Goldfish Grahams Honey Flavor

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and marshmallows in a pan
  2. Mix in chocolate pudding
  3. Remove from heat and add popcorn, coconut and Goldfish Grahams
  4. Gently fold until well coated
  5. Spray Cookie scoop or hands with oil lightly
  6. Scoop mix with cookie scoop onto cookie sheet in popcorn ball shape
  7. Allow to cool in fridge 30 minutes
  8. Enjoy

I love how easy these S’mores Popcorn Balls are to throw together. We always have all the ingredients on hand too! This time we used a dark chocolate pudding mix and it turned out especially delicious!

And it’s just as simple to make as another well known marshmallow treat that kids love! All starting with butter and marshmallows. But then we throw in a few new ingredients including the Goldfish Grahams and we end up with something truly magical to the taste buds!

The best part about this recipe is not how amazing it tastes, but how much you can involve the kids! If you have older kids they can be part of mixing the butter and marshmallows as they melt.

And they can help mix the popcorn, Goldfish Grahams and coconut together into the chocolate s’mores pudding mixture.

Then bring in the younger ones to help portion out into balls on the cookie sheet. Make sure they wash their hands well first! Use a little oil spray to help prevent sticking. You can use a cookie scoop or their hands if you like. It’s all up to you. We started with a cookie scoop. But as it cooled it grew more stiff and then we switched to using hands.

And remember what I said earlier! Make sure you have some Goldfish Grahams set aside for the kids to snack on while making the treat. Because undoubtedly they will be sneaking the snacks!

What you end up with is a great afternoon spending time in the kitchen with the kids. And a fun treat to conclude the afternoon. The kids will love these! Not to mention they make the best snack to take in baggies to the park at the end, or if bad weather you can have a movie party! We had a rainy afternoon, so we stayed in and watched movies. And then shared with some neighbors too!
