Make your Spring afternoons fun with the kids with this easy DIY Snack Caddy Craft with Goldfish® crackers that I’m sharing as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #GoldfishCrowd
Our sweet Jade absolutely loves doing small and simple crafts. And you can always find her sitting down doing a craft with a fun snack next to her. That is her favorite afternoon activity when she gets home from school. So I decided this week to combine the two and make a fun and simple craft that also includes her after school snack!
Kids Snack Caddy Craft
Supplies:
- 4 small (mini or bathroom sized) paper cups
- Stapler
- Foam craft strips (cut from foam craft sheet)
- Goldfish® crackers
- String Cheese
- Grapes (or other in season fruit)
Like I told you, this craft is SO SIMPLE! It literally takes less than 5 minutes. And yet your child will absolutely love it!
Line the 4 cups up next to each other in a square.
Then staple two cups together near the top. Then staple the next cup to the 2nd cup. Then fill in the last spot with the last cup. All stapled together to connect them all into a circle/square shape.
Now it’s time for the handle. Cut a small strip from a sheet of craft foam sheet. You can make it thick or thin. Really it is up to you.
Staple it into the inside edge of one cup. Then staple the opposite side to the inside edge of the cup kiddie corner to the first.
Ta-Da you now have a handle! And a Snack Caddy ready to go!
Next we fill it with the favorite snacks for snack time! For our kids that usually means some in season fruit. Right now the fruit that is best from our stores are grapes. But in the summer I can’t wait to add in blueberries, strawberries and more!
Then fill another cup with a protein snack. Jade’s favorites include string cheese or a yogurt tube. Or you can slice some lunch meat into fun cubes and serve with a toothpick.
Lastly fill up the last 2 cups with the kids favorite Goldfish crackers!
They have new flavors launching this spring and our kids couldn’t be more excited. Honestly even us parents are excited because these flavors are awesome!
- Xtra Cheddar + Pretzel
- Honey Mustard Pretzel
- Chocolate Mint + Ptretzel
Or you can pick your favorite traditional Goldfish crackers!
