It is finally October and that means it is Halloween Season! We absolutely love Halloween! It is a fun time to dress up and enjoy all things spooky and put together a fun Halloween Craft.
OK… OK… really we just love the excuse to have fun, dress up and eat candy! Especially the treats from Hershey! But it is also a great excuse to have family together time, and build memories with an easy Halloween craft, spooky decor and indulgent treats!
Easy Halloween Craft with Hershey
Did you know that 34 percent of people attend or throw Halloween parties each year? We often hold our own family Halloween party in addition to the traditional trick or treating. It is a family tradition we look forward to every year. And it is always a highlight of the Halloween Season. We set up fun candy snack stations, and do a few Halloween crafts and then watch a fun Halloween movie as a family.
Now you will notice that there is a lot of hype going around now about candy free Halloween handouts. And that is all awesome. Because kids really don’t need a lot of candy.
But let’s face it; the chocolate is the highlight of Halloween. We are all about the chocolate! We still have a collection of left over Halloween candy from last year. Can you guess what is NOT in the left over bucket? The chocolate! All other candy gets sidelined when Hershey is around! It is what everyone looks forward to each year.
We gather our favorites and savor them over a few days. The Hershey candy is savored, treasured, and never wasted.
So it’s not hard to believe that Hershey’s chocolate is a classic when it comes to Halloween fun! If you will remember a few years ago, we put together a fun Hershey’s Halloween Kit Kat Cake that was a complete hit! And thanks to the return of the Halloween Season, you can find all those favorite candies (yes including the orange Kit Kat® Bars) to recreate the Halloween Kit Kat® Cake!
This year, I took our seasonal favorites from Hershey including the chocolate assortment variety bags, Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkins, Kit Kat® bars and Cadbury Screme Egg candies and put together a fun Halloween craft and Table decor that we will be using for our family Halloween Party this year!
Plus we can’t forget the fun craft, the Mummy treat cup party favors! These were so simple, you will love it and so will the kids!
- small white paper cups
- Cheesecloth torn into small strips
- Mummy eye foam stickers or Googly eyes (your pick)
Attach the mummy eyes foam stickers or the Googly eyes onto the cup.
Then wind the torn cheesecloth trips around the cup. I found that the cheesecloth strips actually clung to the cup so I didn’t even need tape or glue. I just wrapped. Like I said, super easy!
And then you are done! You have a cute little mummy cup that is now ready to be filled with your favorite Hershey Halloween Candy!
These are perfect for parties. Set up your Mummy treat cups with Hershey candy in them and scatter them across the table with the other snacks. They make the perfect portion cups for when the kids come to pick out their candy!
Plus they are cute!
I finished off the Halloween Table Decor with some fun spooky books, battery tealights, a cauldron filled with more Hershey treats.
To display the favorite Jolly Rancher Caramel Apple Lollipop I used a tin can, topped with shredded paper and then stuck the suckers on top.
And finally display the coveted Cadbury Screme Egg candies in a spooky skeleton hand holder. My boys look forward to these eggs every year!
Our easy Halloween Craft Mummy treat cup party favor and table decor is now set and ready for our upcoming Halloween Party! All thanks to Hershey!

That Kit Kat cake is amazing - but honestly, the mummy cup is so much easier to re-create. I love it! Thanks for sharing such an easy idea. Very fun!
