This post was created as part of a relationship in which I was sponsored by Weight Watchers and given a free three month subscription to try their new Personal Coaching and Essentials product, watch their Super Bowl “All You Can Eat” commercial and share my experience. Though I was compensated for my time and commitment, all views, positive and negative, are my own. Please enjoy these Weight Watcher Recipes today!
Did you watch the Big Game this weekend? I’m not big into the whole Football scene. But I sure do love the commercials and the food! You know what I’m talking about right? Oh man, the food is the best part! It seems as though of all days of the year, the day of the Big Game is rival 2nd only to Thanksgiving as the day we all splurge and indulge! From finger foods to indulgent desserts and even some catering. The big game day is the feast that throws off almost everyone’s New Years resolution to take control of their lifestyle and eat more responsibly.
But it doesn’t always have to be that way. If you watched the Big Game for the commercials, maybe you noticed the hot new commercial from Weight Watchers. Rather upfront right? I mean, we have become a culture of food. Food is a very strong driving force. Didn’t get to see the commercial? Well check it out!
It really resonated with me. Especially since I am such a foodie. Oh my goodness, I love food. I love the flavor of food! I love the social aspect of food. I love social get togethers with our friends and family. And the food is always a big part of that. Seriously can you see how that new commercial resonates with me?
Our culture is one of “All You Can Eat!” And it literally implies eating more than we can eat, and more than we SHOULD eat. From Holidays, to special sporting events, to just plain hanging out with our friends and family to eating up our feelings. But the consequences are not so enjoyable.
It’s been a big challenge to take back control. Are you tired of food controlling your life? Always living at the whim of your next food craving, or the food of the latest party? Well, you don’t have to be subject to all that decadent food anymore. You can take back control.
Over the last few weeks, I have used the help of my Personal Coach and the tools from Weight Watchers to take control back. I now control my food. It doesn’t control me. I eat with a purpose. I eat with focus. I know more proper limits.
Does that mean I no longer enjoy food? Oh goodness no. I’m still such a foodie, I could never give up my enjoyment of food. I am still all about great tasting food! But with the help of my Personal coaching sessions and the Weight Watchers tools, I know better how to balance the foods I eat. I learn proper portions. I know when it is ok to indulge and when I need to eat a little more responsibly.
So many of you may be regretting a few food choices from the Big Game. But that’s OK! It’s never too late to take control. To help get you a jump start on overcoming the indulgence from the BIG Game, I’ve gathered some great Weight Watchers recipes! These Weight Watcher Recipes will help you enjoy your food, but also do better taking control over what you eat!

Proof that good for you food can still look and taste great. Portion control is my problem, we good healthy food, but it's so tasty that I'll eat another serving even though I know I'm full.
