Caramel Apple Dip

Why do I feel like I start all my posts with a confession? I dunno. But buckle up because I’m going to give you a few, just so we understand one another.

Confession #1, I don’t love fall. I tolerate it. I enjoy certain things about it, but mostly it makes me sad to say goodbye to warmth and sunshine. (BTW – Spring is my favorite season.) Some of the things I DO like about fall are the colorful leaves and being able to wear my cute sweaters that I had to put away for a few months. I also love the tasty treats that seem to awaken during this time of year.

Am I talking about pumpkin?! No. No I’m not.

Apples, getting ready for dip!

Confession #2, I don’t like pumpkin. I like Caramel. Caramel Apples, to be precise. But have you ever noticed how messy they are to eat? Or how time consuming?

The solution?

Unwrapped Caramels for dip

If you don’t have helping hands, it takes a little while. But boy howdy, it’s worth it. Store leftovers in the fridge. They can be reheated in the microwave.

Apples are a favorite. Some of my boys like to join me with a bit of caramel. However, I've never made it at home.
