The weather is heating up and that means it is time for some summer fun! In the summer we spend a lot of time outside. But being outside a lot means we need to take extra precaution with our skin. Sun Protection is more important than ever. Thankfully we have great products like Banana Boat Sun protection to help us keep our families safe as we spend quality time outside this summer!

Sun Protection Tips

For us, the best part about summer is being together and spending time outside! Every summer we always join my family for an extended family camping trip. And we also love to spend time outside by going to the parks, or just playing outside at home! This includes riding our bikes, going for walks, or just playing in the sprinklers or with water guns when it is hot.

But having sun protection is more than just not going outside. There are many things you can do to help ensure you have proper sun protection.

• Wear Sunglasses to protect your eyes and the skin around your eyes
• Wear hats
• Wear UV protecting clothing when applicable
• Avoid being in the sun between 10 am and 2 pm
• Apply 1 ounce Banana Boat SPF sunscreen at each application
• Apply Sunscreen 30 minutes before going outside
• Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours

This one is absolutely perfect for the husband or when we are being more active outdoors! It is lightweight, sweat resistant, water resistant (up to 80 minutes), quick absorbing, non-greasy and won’t run in eyes!
