Thank you to General Mills for sponsoring today’s Star Wars Breakfast post and inspiring me to find The Force with Star Wars Cereal!
I was in the store the other day when my kids spotted something. It really shouldn’t surprise me that they spotted it. They are like hound dogs when it comes to this subject. I mean, they could spot anything related a mile away. So they saw it. And then the begging began. And I thought, “let’s just remove the temptation and it will go away”…IE Leave the store. Well they remembered. And they have kept begging me for the last 3 weeks!
So what is it that caused such a disturbance in The Force in our house? Star Wars! More specifically the new General Mills Star Wars themed Cereal that is now available at major grocery store chains.
The Star Wars cereal comes in 2 different boxes, one with Darth Vader and the other with Yoda! So you can pick the side of The Force that most relates to your family. And each box has fun Star Wars marshmallow shapes.
Marshmallows “Marbits” are in 6 fun shapes
• Yoda (green)
• R2-D2 (blue and white)
• Jedi Fighter (pink/red)
• Stormtrooper (white)
• Lightsaber (blue)
• Lightsaber (red)
Corn pieces are in 3 fun shapes
• TIE Fighter
• X-Wing Starfighter
• Millenium Falcon
Your kids will have a blast finding all the different shapes as they enjoy their morning cereal!
Star Wars Breakfast Tutorial
Since our family are such big Star Wars fans, I figured I might as well do something fun and special. We’ve already done a Star Wars Dinner and Star Wars Lightsaber Treats, So how about a fun Star Wars Breakfast! It is insanely easy to do, and yet will completely thrill your kids.
You will need
- Star Wars Cereal boxes
- Cinnamon rolls
- Milk
- Blue Fruit punch mix
- Star Wars paraphernalia
Begin by laying it all out before the kids get up.
If you want you can label the Cinnamon rolls as Princess Leia Buns. But I was rushed (because my kids get up so crazy early) so label for me. But the kids knew what they were supposed to be!
Then color the milk blue! This is done with 1 cup milk, and 1 single packet of blue punch mix.
Mix it together and you have the traditional blue milk!
Then decorate around the table with the favorite Star Wars Paraphernalia.
And that’s it. You are done! Told you it was super easy. Yet your kids will absolutely love it.
To add to it, you can even turn on the TV with your favorite Star Wars Movie or cartoons.
Such a simple way to brighten up your kid’s summer vacation!
To save you the headache with our own kids, Use this $1 off COUPON for your own box of Star Wars Cereal!

My kids aren't quite old enough for Star Wars quite yet. But there's a lot of movies I'm excited to show them when they're older!
