SnowCast makes it easy to understand how much snow will fall in your location. It measures snowfall prediction in 6 hour increments. So you can check for current snowfall conditions. And what it will look like every 6 hours for up to 48 hours.
You can also check the radar to see the storm fronts moving over your town.
I downloaded SnowCast right before Thanksgiving break and it was so helpful for our Holiday travel! I was able to see just how much snow was predicted for our little area. It helped us plan our holiday travel based around if we needed to leave a little early because there would be snowfall. 
And wouldn’t you know it? It was completely accurate! It told us when it was snowing. Approximate how much snow to expect. And it predicted we’d have nice weather on Black Friday but snow again on Small Business Saturday. And it was right! 
It also shares NOAA winter weather warnings and advisories.
