When our Aquos Crystal phone showed up on our doorstep I opened it and immediately thought “now that is a rugged phone and Man could love”. So you can image how I about fell out of my chair laughing when the husband came home, saw it and took it immediately saying, “Now that is MY kind of phone!” Haha!

The Aquos Crystal features a more rugged appearance with a 5-inch edge-to-edge HD screen and silver and black trim and backing. It feels more sturdy than most smartphones I’ve held. And is quite sleek in design.

 

It features less buttons on the outside to be bumped or snagged on pockets or in the purse. Or you know…the embarrassing accidental pocket dialing.

But there are a few key features of the Sharp Aquos Crystal that really makes it the best blend between Home and business features that makes this the perfect phone for those who bring home the paycheck.

Calling and Data:

The Aquos features Wi-Fi Calling which lets users to use their voice and messaging services over existing home, office and public Wi-Fi networks.Which means you save on your data plan costs!

The Sharp Aquos runs Android™ 4.4.2, KitKat and has a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm^® Snapdragon^® processor.

And when it comes to calling, you get the best sound possible! HD Voice, virtually eliminating background noise and sound quality is dramatically enhanced on a call between two Sprint HD Voice-enabled devices on upgraded areas of the Sprint network

If you are one that loves to take photos with your phone, you are going to love the Aquos Crystal! It features stunning picture quality and an immersive, vibrant display!

A brilliant feature is the  night catch! It brightens both subject and background for those tricky nighttime shots, sequential shots to catch rapid movements by using a simple button hold, and shutter detect makes it easy to capture unforgettable moments with your friends and family by automatically taking a photo when it detects a smile!

And it features dual cameras: 8MP rear-facing camera with flash (3,264×2,448 photo resolution; [email protected] video resolution) and 1.2MP front-facing camera (1,280×960 photo resolution; [email protected] video resolution)

Sound:

The sound quality is quite amazing as it features Harman Kardon’s LiveStage with Clari-Fi Technology. Which means it delivers crisp sound from phone calls and music alike. We love to use music apps and listen to music on the go all the time with the kids. And the Aquos lets us have great sound as we listen and even have a few impromptu dance parties when our favorite song comes on.

The Sharp AQUOS Crystal comes equipped with Google Mobile services including Google Search, Google Maps, Google Navigation, Google Talk, Google Calendar, Google+ and YouTube!

The Aquos also features Clip Now! Which is a feature that allows you to take screenshots with one swipe and saves them with an embedded URL for easy sharing!

It’s quite amazing how much faster sharing images are with the Clip Now feature, as I don’t have go hunting for the image and hunt which site I want to share through. It makes the process just a big smoother for faster sharing.
