Keeping Energetic Preschoolers Happy with Play All Day Elmo #PlayAllDayElmo

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Hasbro and Playskool. I received product samples and a party stipend to facilitate my review, as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

My son recently started school, leaving my daughter and I home. Seth was always a high-energy kid. I’d have him race up and down the hall a certain number of times to help him practice his counting, as well as burn off some of that energy.

I didn’t realize how high energy Abigail was until her play mate left! She needed someone to endlessly talk to and interact with. I stepped us as well as I could, but any mom of young kids knows that other chores need to be done. I had to do laundry and dishes and bake and – heaven forbid – shower! I couldn’t follow her around and play all day.

The solution? A highly intelligent interactive toy that is soft and cuddly and becomes more than just a toy. He becomes a friend. That would be Elmo. Enter the Play All Day Elmo from Hasbro.

Play All Day Day Elmo - Your curious, energetic child's new friend!

He has 150 responses, 8 games and activities to keep my little one intrigued all day, and 2 different modes. He has one for toddler that plays with simple cause and effect (tickle his tummy and he laughs, squeeze his nose and he honks). There is also a mode for preschoolers that has fun games like color guessing, hop and count, and (my daughter’s favorites) freeze dance and red light green light.

Elmo can also be put on “Nap” mode. He’ll sing and play lullabies while your little one nods off.

But my favorite thing about Elmo is that he doesn’t just play the sound of his voice, his mouth actually moves!

We had some friends over for an Elmo party and introduced them to Play All Day Elmo.

They took turns tickling his tummy, turning him upside down, clapping his hands, squeezing his nose, and giving him kisses.

We also played Oscar’s trash toss and colored an Elmo page.

The kids loved interacting with Elmo.

When the party was over, they got to take home a toy of their own.

This is a sad face, but the only reason she’s upset is because she had to wait until she got home to play with her new My Little Ponies Musical Celebration Castle from Playskool.

Pinkie Pie and Starsong can spin around the dance floor or take a ride in the elevator. I have heard from many of our little friends that this My Little Pony Musical Celebration Castle is a new favorite at their house. And why not? They give preschoolers the ability to explore the world of My Little Pony.

But what about the boys? What little guy doesn’t love a T-Rex?

Jurassic World TRex

This TYRANNOSAURUS REX – also from Playskool – is the ultimate dinosaur for preschool JURASSIC WORLD fans to track and capture! He has light up eyes and a roaring action that’s easily triggered by pressing down on the dino. Watch out, big guy! A human figure is included and he’s out to track and capture the T-Rex.

All these toys are perfect for engaging little minds. Now that fall and winter are knocking on our door, our rainy days won’t be quite so taxing. Anything is fun when you have a friend to keep you company all day.

When the friends were gone, the food cleaned up and the toys put away, I found my daughter sitting in her brother’s room making animal noises with Elmo.

So glad my curious girl has a friend that can keep her entertained and thinking all day long.
