Monroe and Main Fall Fashion, Discovering the Woman inside #MMBloggerSpotlight

Call me crazy, but I just love a flirty and elegant dress! I swear I was born in the wrong era! I don’t often get the chance to wear these flirty dresses, but when I do, I love to go all out! I mean, I am a Woman after all. I grew up part tomboy so now as a Mom I am beginning to explore my feminine side and I am completely loving it! Monroe and Main’s new fall fashion has really helped me embrace my inner woman. Let me just show you!

The Zigzag Midi dress is absolutely amazing. It has a slight slimming affect, the fabric is very smooth and comfortable. And it has a slight stretch. I don’t feel squished in the dress at all. But more than than, this dress just lays and hangs perfectly for a woman’s body!

I don’t thing I’ve found a dress that flows more elegantly on my plus sized body! Most dresses as I walk cling and stick and cause static! Nothing regal about walking in a dress to have it cling to your legs appearing as though your dress has suddenly turned to pants.

Not this one! It lays perfectly and elegantly swooshes as I walk, making me feel thirty, flirty and thriving! No static cling! And yes, I can even twirl. (Remember, girl discovering femininity here, it does allow for a few giggly moments).

I did discover that this particular dress seemed to measure just slightly on the large side if you follow the sizing chart, (which put me into a dress size one up from what I normally wear) But I was able to quickly exchange the dress for one that fits perfectly, and my normal dress size. So I guess, basically use the sizing chart as a guide, but if you are boarder line, go with your regular dress size.

Part of my discovery into a more feminine me, is my obsession with jewelry. I mean really, you can’t wear a smoking hot dress like that and not embellish it! And for me, the more dangle to the earring, the better. Monroe and Main has so many amazing sets of jewelry. It was the hardest part of my shopping experience, just picking a few pieces. I wanted them all!

 

I settled on the Tassel Pendant and Earring Set with the Black and White Bangle. The earrings dangle to my hearts content, yet they aren’t heavy, nor cause ear pain! The necklace is just awesome. My daughter seriously won’t leave it alone each time I wear it. And the bracelet surpassed my expectations!

I feel quite like a resplendent woman from a more civilized time walking through such gardens. Like I said, I quite enjoy this new feminine side.
