As a LeapFrog Mom Ambassador, I receive products, promotional items and educational material to use and share as I see fit. However, any opinions expressed by me are honest and reflect my actual experience.
These last few months my daughter has truly loved me being a Leapfrog Mom Ambassador! Why? Because she is loving the hot new Leapfrog toys! After watching her play with them this last month I can honestly say these would make amazing gifts for Christmas for any little kid!
Hot LeapFrog Toys Kids Love
First up is the Number Lovin’ Oven. This is the first thing Miss Jade saw in the package and it was the first thing she begged me to open. And once I opened it she took off with it. I lost her attention for hours.
First, it’s just super cute. I mean what little girl doesn’t love a play oven? With play food? And it makes noises and sings songs. Total hit!
But to make it even more exciting for Parents is that it also has an educational value. It helps to teach numbers and basic ideas behind cooking times. If you slide the number slider to 5 then it says, “this might come out extra crispy”. Or 3 “Medium is a good choice”.
It helps to show kids how math can be used in every day scenarios like cooking. Focusing on parts of a whole, and showing how to divide an object into different parts. Like the pizza in 4 equal pieces.
All while incorporating the fun of a magic kitchen. It makes the sounds of food cooking, the egg sizzling in the pan and bread baking, and the timer dinging!
And best of all, all the little pieces can store right inside the oven!
This little oven is an excellent Christmas gift for any child that loves to imaging themselves cooking!
Next is the fun Build and Discover Tool Set. Now this one I’m holding in reserve because Miss Jade has been having so much fun with her oven, I didn’t want to over stimulate her. But I love what it has to offer little kids. Especially if your little ones like to be a helper.
This tool set is designed for kids ages 2 and up. It focuses on color matching, counting and dexterity skills. It also has fun learning songs and phrases as you build a long.
Kids are encouraged to help count the nails and to measure walls and windows. They are also encouraged to match colors like the red wrench with the red bolt.
And the kids are able to have hands on experience since the house can be taken apart literally. And then they use the tools to put it all back together. They are able to learn how to build, put things together and take apart. Plus the dexterity of using tools to build is a great way to improve their hand dexterity skills as a learning child.
These two little kits are great for younger kids, but still has fun entertainment value for older children too. Miss Jade is a kindergartener with some developmental delays so they are the perfect toys for her. But even other kids her age would love these hot LeapFrog Toys!
