Find versatile holiday fashions to easily transition from desk to dinner, daytime festivities to nighttime celebrations, or work life to weekend life at Monroe and Main!

I love getting new items for my closet! Especially around the Holidays! It seems like the opportunities to go out increases this time of year and we all love to look great right? But With the holidays that also means that our funds are more limited. I love the idea of taking a few items of clothing and mixing and matching to create multiple outfits. It helps to stretch the budget and offers you a lot of look options. But mostly I am lazy and I love being able to add just a few things to something I’m already wearing to change my look from day to night.

Monroe and Main is one of my favorite sites for great Holiday fashion looks and accessories. So I’m super excited to you show the wonderful options for versatility with Monroe and Main fashion. Where you can easily turn a day look into a night look by switching out a few items!

Transitional Holiday Fashion Looks

Now for me, since I work at home, most often you will find me in my PJs  with a cup of Hot cocoa and my fuzzy pink slippers. But even I have to dress up for work now and then. I have conference calls every Monday and sometimes on other days of the week too. So I try to at least look nice from the waist up! I mean, that’s all they are going to see anyway right? So I will be showcasing my Pj bottoms, slippers and hot cocoa mug, with a nice top.

To my rescue is the Kimono Tunic. It is classy and dressy enough for conference calls. Yet it is very comfortable and I don’t feel like I’m dressed up either!

After a morning of conference calls, I might need to go out and run some errands. Usually that means a trip to Target or a local craft store. And we all know we don’t go out in PJs! So throw on some jeans and some comfy boots. And you have a quick and efficient transition.

And to add a little more spice to the outfit take along the fun Red Lady Bug Knit Phone Holder. It is brilliant for short trips to help you keep track of your phone!

At the end of the day we may have a church function to attend. So lets switch one more time. Change out the Jeans for the extremely comfortable black A-line maxi skirt!

Throw on some pumps and switch out the knit phone holder for something a little fancier like the Milano Wallet/Cell Phone Holder.

Now if it happens to be a Friday night, it could be date night! And lets shoot for something a little fancier. Or maybe you have a Holiday party! You want to dress up a little more than a basic skirt and shirt. And this is where the versatility of these items really shine!

Untie the Kimono Tunic and tuck it down into the skirt. And funny enough, pull an Urkle and hike that skirt up to right under the bra line. This really makes the Maxi skirt shine in versatility because it is so long it still looks great hiked up!

And now add in a flashy fat belt at the waist band to blend the look of the Kimono Tunic and the Skirt. Now it looks like one of those fancy dresses that costs hundreds of dollars!

Throw on some flashy jewelry like the Teardrop Necklace and earring set! I got mine in the Gunmetal look to blend with my cool skin tones.

And if you don’t like the color of the light blue Kimono, don’t worry! Remember how we taught you to dress up jeans? Doesn’t the shirt look similar? Well that’s cause it is the same shirt! Yes, I love the Kimono Tunic so much I got two! One in light blue and one in red! So if you don’t like the blue it does come in a more holiday festive color!
