This morning I rolled out of bed and dragged myself out on a run. After the initial drudgery of wishing I was still in bed, I started to warm up, both physically and mentally. I was feeling pretty good on the run because I’d had a protein packed dinner the night before. I wasn’t running on empty, as they say.
Somedays, though, that donut or pizza or third scoop of ice cream is really making me hate life while I exercise.

A lot of those kid snacks (and adult snacks!) are sugar packed and artificially dyed. I can’t stand that! Why do I need to pump my kids full of sugar and dye? Can’t we just find a snack that’s good for us and doesn’t taste like cardboard? Thanks.
