As you know we recently moved into a new house. I was really concerned about how the pets would react to the new environment. Especially Wally. He’s a bit territorial and can be tempromental at times as well.
Well, to my amazement, he took to the new house very well. He absolutely loves the bigger house. More places to hide I guess. He often disappears and it’s hours before we see him again. He not only loves the bigger house, but he loves our neighborhood as well. Lots of open area for him to explore. Lots of flower beds to hide in. He especially loves the eave under our front bay window. But he also loves the warmer sidewalks too.
Needless to say he has adjusted quite well. But with a new house, I want to make sure his odor doesn’t spread throughout the house either. So getting a quality cat litter is a must! Especially since his litter box is in the storage room near our cold storage where I store my canned goods. Definitely don’t want that smell lingering near our food.
But not only that, but we have a lot of stairs to carry his cat litter through to get to his litter room. I mean seriously, have you ever tried to carry a big bucket of cat liter on stairs? It gets heavy rather quickly. So I wanted to try something new.
Fresh Step® Lightweight Extreme litter available at Target. I mean we love shopping at Target, so I figured let’s pick up some fresh new litter to keep our new house smelling great. They have a great display right now at Target where you can see the difference between the old version of Fresh Step® and the new Lightweight. I love that it is 30% lighter which makes it easier to lift, carry and pour. And it is suppose to still provide amazing odor control, absorption and clumping performance that we need.
So now we have it home, it is time to put the Fresh Step® Lightweight Extreme Litter to work. We’ll be back in a few weeks time to let you know how it works.
Would you like Cat litter that is lighter?
How do you keep the cat odors away?
