Easy Breakfast Walkabout

Just because we are in a rush in the morning, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t ensure we get a great breakfast. We all know the importance of a great breakfast, so why do we sometimes find ourselves skipping breakfast? My biggest “coop out” is saying I just don’t have time. But with these easy breakfast walkabout ideas; we can add breakfast back into our mornings making sure we get a great start to our day.

An easy breakfast can consist of something as simple as tossing some Kellogg’s Mueslix in a cup of yogurt. Or make a peanut butter and jam sandwich out of Kellogg’s Eggo waffles. I do this one a lot. Using the Kellogg’s Nutrigrain waffles, natural peanut butter and my homemade raspberry Rhubarb jam.

But the easy breakfast I use the most is simply putting my morning Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Cereal in a mug. This allows me to be more mobile with my breakfast. I can carry it around the house with me as I get ready for the day. Taking a bite between activities. Put on a sock; take a bite. Put on the other sock; take another bite. You get the idea.

The walk and eat cereal idea is so true. Sometimes you need to move and eat to make sure you get the time in to eat. Having breakfast is so important.

I do the cereal in a mug thing a lot, but I had no idea about the waffle sandwiches. My kids love waffles, and sandwiches, so why not combine the two? Brilliant! I can't wait to try it.
