Easy and Tender Crock Pot Beef Ribs; Family Approved, Thumbs Up From Kids,Healthy and HCG #Diet Friendly!

We’ve been having a pure makeover with our food the last few weeks, eating clean and natural. And in the process I had discovered a few new recipes that were a huge success with the family, including the kids! Now seeing as they used ZERO oil, butter, sugar, or other ingredients that hinder weight loss, and yet my kids still loved it, I just have to share, because these types of meals are very rare! So today I hope you will enjoy our easy and tender Crock pot Beef Ribs! This can be made with a roast, beef brisket, or beef Ribs. They all turn out about the same! Just be sure to select meat that has been trimmed of as much fat as possible.

Ingredients:

  • Beef Ribs
  • Garlic Powder
  • Minced Onions
  • Sea Salt or pickling salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • pure Stevia powder
  • Lemon or Lemon Juice
  • 2-3 tomatoes

Directions:

I’m sad to say I don’t have precise measurements for these ingredients, as it’s based on feel, scent and taste. I measured with my eyes as I sprinkled, so do the best you can and if you feel like measuring as you go, feel free! But I made this the way my Grandma used to cook, by sight and without measuring.

First, in your crock pot, add 1 cup water. Then sprinkle in Garlic powder enough to make a thin layer across the water. Then do the same with the minced onions, Stevia powder and pepper. Add a little Sea salt to taste. Mix the water and spices together. Then place the Beef ribs/brisket or roast in the water. Slice the tomatoes and place on top and around the beef. Then Drizzle all tomatoes and beef with Lemon juice. Do NOT forget the lemon juice! It really seals the deal on this recipe!

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Serve with your choice of healthy sides! The meat is usually so tender that it literally falls apart! The Ribs are super moist, with just a hint of sweetness.

NOTE: Cutting the time and cooking at higher temperature does NOT work. The meat turns tough and not as juicy. Trust me, I tried this one day, as I was running late and only had 4 hours until dinner, so I cooked it on high. It did NOT turn out. The Trick is cooking it on low for the longer time.

This meal choice is an approved food for the HCG Diet as long as your beef selection is on the approved list of beef cuts. Instead of adding additional sides, simply eat the cooked tomatoes or add a raw tomato as your side.

Can you believe something so delicious is free of any oil, butter, sugar and starches?

Have you Tried out our recipe? How did it work with your family?
