DIY Outdoor Oasis with Pier 1 Imports

We have now been in our new home for a full year. And one of the features I absolutely love about our house is the large areas of patio that would be the perfect location for an outdoor oasis!

So this year I am so excited that Pier 1 Imports is helping me make my little outdoor oasis happening! Especially so that I can have a quiet and comfortable escape for this summer as I grow bigger and bigger with this baby on the way.

DIY Outdoor Oasis

So we begin with our area. A nice level area of cement just outside our back door. Right now it is very bland. I am seriously talking bland! As in completely empty!

The most important thing to me is having a great place to sit and relax on the beautiful summer evenings. Think a nice place to sip a cool glass of lemonade while listening to the birds and feeling the cool breeze.

So I went to Pier 1 Imports to find some stylish items to create my outdoor oasis. It was a hard choice because they have so much that caught my eye!

I finally settled on the Santa Barbara Glider Settee in Mocha along with the Santa Barbara Coffee Table also in Mocha.

What I love is that these pieces have a Global feel with the deeper earth tone color, with synthetic rattan over a durable, rust-resistant frame. Plus they are super easy to clean and very comfortable.

Now just knowing my name (Amber) you should know that I love rich, warm earth tones. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that I love a Global theme for my Outdoor Oasis. So when I wanted to add in some color it was a given to pick the Calliope Settee Cushion in Moss for the Settee with a Calliope Pillow in Honey to accent.

These are the perfect colors to blend with our yard and my earthy global appeal. Think warm bright colors. That is what I love to surround myself with during the summer.

 

And finally to top off an outdoor oasis, you have to have a wind chime! We often get a nice breeze in the evenings, so having a calming wind chime is an absolute must. And I instantly fell in love with the Sun Face Glow-in-the-Dark Wind Chimes.

These chimes offer the most soothing chime when the wind blows through. Plus they also feature an earthy, warm and jeweled look.

 

These solar-inspired wind chimes are handcrafted from sprayed iron, with three bells and two small moon charms. And they glow in the dark after the sun sets! It truly completed my little outdoor oasis!

Now it is set up and ready for a quiet evening on a nice summer day! Not to mention the perfect spot for the husband to relax after a full day of mowing the lawn!

 

It’s also a great spot to gather the family and just relax.

 

We can enjoy a beautiful view of the fields and mountains surrounding our home, while we gently rock on the settee!

 

But for me, sometimes I want even more. So after all the rain storms finally went away and I had time to enjoy my new Outdoor Oasis, I threw in another fun piece. I found this adorable Gaze Acrylic Pitcher and thought it would be perfect to host some fresh flowers!

 

So I threw in some fresh lilies and our freshest rose blossom from our garden, and ta-da! I have a great completion to my Outdoor Oasis to really brighten my day.
