I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for DermaWand. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
I was always one of those that wished I was older than I looked growing up. At age 20 I looked like I was 16. It wasn’t so fun at that age. And then something happened. I turned 30 a few years ago. And everything instantly changed. I know most people don’t mind the 30’s but for me it is a hard adjustment. I’m still not adjusted. Especially because my youthful looks I always took for grated are starting to wane.
My skin is sagging, I’m getting dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles under my eyes. My corners of my lips are drooping, and my under chin and neck skin is not as vibrant as it used to be. As if leaving the 20’s was bad enough, but not I have to start facing the aging signs. No longer can i get away with using the teenager skin care system for acne. No, now I need to focus on wrinkles!
DermaWand goes beyond wrinkle creams
Anti-wrinkle creams can only do so much for aging skin. And I’ve been using them for quite some time but I am still seeing the puffy eyes, and increased wrinkles.
I don’t have the time nor money to constantly visit a specialist to keep my skin looking younger. And sorry, but Botox and plastic surgery is out for this lady; not even an option I’ll consider.
So what do you do when you want to stay looking young (or reverse the signs of aging) but have ruled out the other options?
The Dermawand beauty treatment is a brilliant new option for women like me that uses radio frequencies. Radio frequencies is now considered one of the best methods for reversing the signs of aging. It is a treatment system you can use at home in the privacy of your own bathroom to help transform your skin to looking younger and more vibrant!
DermaWand uses the same technology as the big radio frequency machines that Doctors and Medical Specialists use for treatments to help manage the signs of premature aging. The difference: DermaWand uses lower amplitude that’s perfect for everyday in-home use. Like the big machines, DermaWand provides instant stimulation, thereby providing a massage effect while at the same time delivering thermal energy and enriched oxygen. The results – younger looking skin with only 2 three minute treatments a day. Best of all, you can do it in the comfort of your own home at a fraction of the cost of going to a doctor!
Plus the DermaWand is very simple to incorporate into your daily beauty routine as well! Check out my short video to see how to use the DermaWand!
Simply begin with fresh and clean skin, apply the pre-face moisturizer. Select the level of frequency you need and begin running the DermaWand across your skin as directed in the instruction booklet.
It even has instructions for additional treatments for those stubborn aging areas like the eye area, neck and around the mouth.
Then follow up with the Hydration lotion and Skin Mist.
It seems to be common that you can experience some redness in the skin after a treatment. But mine usually goes away rather quickly. Usually you can’t even tell after I put on my daily makeup.
Which, speaking of makeup; I have noticed such an improvement in my skin that I don’t feel like I need as much makeup each day. I don’t need to worry about covering up lines and wrinkles or hiding dark spots under my eyes. It is so nice to have to apply less makeup each day. And even some days I feel great enough to even go without makeup!
So after using the DermaWand for 3 weeks morning and night; I wanted to show you the difference. But realized my “before” shot was deleted during the bout of computer virus we had last month. So instead I can only show you the difference between of before the morning treatment and after the morning treatment.
I wish you could have seen my eyes before i began using DermaWand. They had a lot more puffiness and wrinkles. But even still you can see the change between the left eye and the right eye in just one treatment.
But most impressive is at the corner of my lips. Check those out!

I got a DermaWand a few years ago. First of all, I have always taken care of my skin. I am ivory Irish, sans freckles (like my Dad). I have two shades- ghost and lobster. In my 20s I started treating under my eyes, as I have very large expressive eyes and I noticed even then how bad many of my age cohorts looked after smoking and excessive sun on their skin. It wasn't until I was in my 50s, and had two major back-to-back illnesses that I noticed my face was looking bad. Thyroid disorders and uterine cancer can and will make your undereyes look hollow and dark. That is where the DermaWand came in. I also got a dot-matrix RF Thermage. Truthfully, to see any results you have to spend more than 6 minutes a day with it. Six minutes a day did nothing. Every night, after I shower, I turn on the TV and spend about 1/2 hr on my face, neck and décolletage with one or the other. I have no wrinkles anyway, I just want to make sure my skin stays tight and I don't get pucker lines around my lipline. My cousin in 71, and she massages either flaxseed oil or almond oil into her face every night. I do this, then I use my DermaWand, and in between I mist with my Mario Badescu face mist with rosewater, or make my own with bottled water and drops of almond oil and rosewater. The oil and mist makes the wands both work better. I have noticed that skin tags vanish, my skin tightens, stretch marks and scars virtually vanish (like the one from my thyroidectomy) and blemishes disappear. However, it has done absolutely NOTHING to make my undereyes look better. I have invested in hyalauronic acid products, and use them faithfully under my eyes twice daily. Highlighters, lighter than my skin also help my appearance. I am often mistaken for being a decade or more younger than my 57 years (can't get away with being younger as I have sons in their 20s). The big things to remember is hydration (drink lots of water), moisturize (esp in cold weather), keep away from smoking, sun and alcoholic beverages (these destroy your face big time) and regard makeup as your friend, as it enhances features, minimizes others and provides SPF. Take supplements vitamin D, B complex, folic acid and biotin. There is also oral hyalauronic acid, which helps build collagen. Good luck--and remember, that DermaWand can only do so much. If you have good genes, it will just be an aid to staying good looking. If everyone in your family has aged horribly, you must temper your expectations. DermaWand works over time, not immediately. BTW--no-one paid me or gave me anything for this. If you want a good deal on a DermaWand, GO TO AMAZON. I got mine with the kit of creams and spray for $69. The RF Thermage, which is much more like a laser, was $109 with an extra head. Remember--I alternate the two. RF Thermage is too strong to use daily.

Some days I don't mind the signs of age that are slowly approaching. Other days, I'm devastated by them. I will need to check out the DermaWand.
