A better way of Cleaning Granite Countertops and stone! Awhile ago I shared with you some secrets on how to clean granite. Since we have our beautiful Kitchen with granite counter tops it is important that we take extra care of our granite counters. I want my kitchen to continue to look beautiful for years to come! And as I mentioned last time, you have to be careful when cleaning granite counters. You can’t just use any regular cleaner. I’ve tried a few different special granite cleaners and frankly the last one I used is now my favorite. I just try using the Rock-it Oil stone and was amazed at the difference in my counter! If you will remember, using regular cleaners can actually damage your stone and granite counters. They are porous stone and don’t handle the harsh cleaners very well. So what do you do when you have some really tough dirt that needs to be removed? While I loved my old granite sealer cleaner, the Rock-it Oil Stone really blew me away in what it was able to do. Rock-it Oil Stone works like a power magnet to attract and remove trapped dirt without scratching the surface. Beats any conventional cleaner… and it even polishes without streaking! First time this are around my faucet. So the lighting isn’t the best; but I”ll tell you what is there. Water stains. hard water stains. And no amount of gentle cleaning was clearing that away. Not to mention someone left the steel wool cleaner on the side and now it shows rust on my counter!! One unhappy mama! A better way of Cleaning Granite Countertops and stone! It will foam up and you will actually hear is “sizzling” a little. I just image that means it is working at penetrating the stain. A better way of Cleaning Granite Countertops and stone! After about five minutes you wipe it off with a damp clean microfiber cloth. Then buff it dry with a dry cloth. And Tada! The stains are gone! A better way of Cleaning Granite Countertops and stone! We also often end up with a collection of grease on this counter near the stove. I guess as things good like bacon the grease splatters. It builds up over time and leaves a nasty residue, even with our regular routine cleaning. So again, use the Rock-it Oil Stone cleaner. Following the same instructions. But what I noticed right off was the feel. The counter felt so clean! So smooth! The built up grease was gone. And add to that, there wasn’t a residue left behind like the old cleaner use to leave. Just a beautiful shining granite counter! A better way of Cleaning Granite Countertops and stone!
