Have you ever had a dress that as soon as you saw it, you went, “Yes!” and sighed because this dress was made for you?
It’s happened on a few rare occasions in my life. Fortunately for me, one of those moments came when I opened up my new Karina Dress. I pulled the dress out of the package and did one of those girly squeals where I held up the dress to myself and twirled around. It’s the Gala Wrap, and I can’t express my love for this style.
Wearing this dress me feel like I’ve been transported to the 50s. It’s very classy and elegant, yet casual enough that I can wear it to church or to a family party.
The sweetheart neckline perfectly accentuates my, ahem, smaller frame. 😉 The skirt sways beautifully at my knees. And I love the sleeves. If spring ever really comes – instead of just teasing us with sun one day and snow the next, I’ll be in heaven wearing this dress! I could pair it with a cardigan to wait out the cold weather, but why would I want to with the beautiful details of the neckline and sleeves?
I have a unique build, and I love how flattering this dress is. A lot of wrap around dresses hug me in all the wrong places, but I took a chance on the Gala dress, and it paid off for sure! The best part about the wrap around design? It’s a one size fits most. It’ll fit from 2-12. Seriously. I tied the bow in the back. Next time I’m going to tie it in the front. That’s the nice thing about Karina Dresses: They’re versatile!
Don’t you just love the mint with pink polka dots? Fun and flirty for sure.
I wanted to do my hair and go bake something. 😉 I settled for playing on the piano instead. In heels, thank you very much.
As with all Karina Dresses, it’s wrinkle free. I had it in a suit case for a week (no, seriously), and took it out and hung it up the day before these pictures were taken. Once again, perfect condition, no ironing needed. Yeah! That’s my kind of dress.
