Easy Christmas Treats: DIY Chocolate covered pretzels
It doesn’t really matter the brand for the chocolate, but it does need to be Almond bark, otherwise it won’t harden as easily. You can also do this with different flavored Barks, such as peppermint or white chocolate.
Next you will need a Double Boiler set up like this.
Basically you have the bottom pan full of hot water with the boiler pan on top. This way the boiling water heats up the chocolate in the top pan, but you don’t have to worry about the chocolate burning. Turn the heat to medium high heat and keep the water at a steady mild boil. Place 2-3 sections of the Almond bark into the top pan and let it melt.
Now here is the easiest part, all you do is dip the pretzel into the chocolate and then place on Parchment paper to cool and harden. Now you can enjoy!

I LOVE chocolate covered pretzles! Would be much cheaper to make my own instead of buying them.

I make them a few times a year! I actually use melted chocolate chips. That's it!! I melt a bag of chips in the microwave, stopping it occasionally to stir. Then I simply dip the pretzel rods in a bowl, tilting it to get the chocolate closer to the handle. It's so easy! Then I love to add sprinkles, depending on the season. Yum!
