Chasing Fireflies All Dressed Up Kids Christmas Fashion

Every year at Christmas my kids get new dress up clothes. The boys usually get new suits and Miss Jade gets a new Christmas dress. It’s been tradition since I was a little girl. My mom always made me a new dress for Christmas. And I wanted to carry on that tradition with my kids. Especially since new clothes always scream “New photos!”. And since it has been 2 years since I had a photo shoot with all three kids together dressed up nicely; I figured it was high time!

 

So I went looking for adorable outfits for the kids to dress up in for our new photo shoot. I wanted something nice and all dressed up for the kids. Yet casual enough that they wouldn’t fight me when I wanted them to dress up.

Chasing Fireflies has an amazing line of Boys Suits & Coats that all look stunning and come in a huge variety of sizes. I was able to find some great selections for my older boys. Jonathan got the Pinstripe Suit and Talmage got the Mod Suit. Then we completed the look with nice white shirts and matching ties from Chasing Fireflies as well.

What I absolutely loved is that the suits aren’t restrictive. They were comfortable for the boys to wear and they just loved them! And as boys will be boys, they were climbing all over the place and were still quite happy in their suits.

I especially loved the adjustable waist in the suits! Every time I find pants that are long enough for my boys the waist is far too big. And my boys hate wearing belts. So the adjustable waist was such a lifesaver! I got the pants to fit and all without a belt to pinch the kids.

Then we have Miss Jade. She is all princess! She is a lot like me. She loves ruffles and fluff in her clothes. She’s obsessed with Princesses and Fairies. I wanted something to fit her personality, looks nice, but also won’t be a pain to clean since she is always making messes! So the Girls Knit dresses are a perfect choice for her.

I instantly fell in love with the Girls Flutter Dress for Miss Jade. And while it comes in purple, pink and red; Miss Jade picked the red color.

It comes with it’s own leggings so I didn’t have to worry about matching the red colors either. That was sure nice. And it fit her perfectly!

It was warm for her, and made her feel like a princess. And we all adored the ruffles and frill.

Not to mention we embellished the outfit with the adorable pearl and sequin headband to complete the look. She truly felt like a fairy princess.

As for our photo shoot session, it was a beautiful Black Friday day. Yes, we went and took photos instead of shopping on Black Friday. A much better choice for our family. And with just a slight overcast and actually rather warm weather for this time of year.

We had great weather, adorable kids, beautiful dressed up outfits from Chasing Fireflies! Now if only we could get all three kids to actually LOOK AT ME at the same time! Oh my goodness. I think they all forgot what the works “Look at me” mean! lol.

But even so, we had a successful day shooting pictures of the kids. Now we can update the outdated photos on our walls and they have brand new outfits for Christmas that they love just as much as Mom loves the outfits.
