Bold Colors for Spring with Karina Dresses #Frockstar

I took a look in my closet and noticed something a little…interesting. All my clothes are a nice comfortable variation of the same thing! Dark blue, brown, black. I have one red shirt that I wear when I’m feeling sassy.

Other than that? I’m pretty plane Jane.

I decided to throw caution to the wind and buy something a little bolder than I usually would. When I saw this Nora dress in clover from Karina Dresses, I knew this was just what the fashion police ordered. It was a perfect facelift for my bland wardrobe! I love the bold design with the bright colors. I love the flattering waist line.

It’s sleeveless, so I needed to pair it with something. I tried a white shrug, and that was cute. I tried a jean jacket, and that was fun. But as I was walking out the door, I slipped on my yellow sandals and had an epiphany.

Yellow!

I happen to have a yellow cardigan in my closet. I pulled it on and smiled. It was perfect! I love the bold retro look of the different colors. They don’t “match,” but they sure mesh.

I love the length of this dress. It hits below my knees, which is perfect for me!
