Bambo-Nature EcoFriendly Disposable Diaper Review and Giveaway GOGREEN!

How many of you want to be more Green Conscious with diapering, but you aren't quite ready to take the plunge into Cloth diapers? Or what do you do when your child is allergic to the majority of the disposable diapers on the market? We may have the solution for you!

Even though I love my cloth diapers not everyone around me does. I've found I still need to keep a small stash of disposable diapers on hand for babysitters and grandparents, or for when we go on long trips and I don't have the means to wash the cloth diapers. Even for those emergencies when I just plain forget to WASH the diapers (which happens a little more often than I'd like. haha). So here is my problem, and you let me know if you have the same problem…I do NOT like the disposable diapers after using cloth for so long. Jade is allergic to 3 of the most common brands, she rashes horribly every time we try to use them. And then the other brands have this horrible odor to them when they get wet; like an overbearing perfume trying to mask ammonia urine; you can still smell the urine but you also have that bitter perfume scent included. Not to mention that the last 3 packages of Disposable diapers I've purchased about every 3rd disposable diaper would fall apart on me! Sadly I wish I was exaggerating. Either the diaper itself would rip spilling all those annoying little chemical "pebbles" everywhere, or the wing's tab would rip off leaving the diaper completely useless. Not to mention that they would leak horribly!

I was quite excited to able to try out Bambo-nature ecofriendly Nappies (Disposable diapers to us Americans). I have to tell you; I think I've found my new Disposable Diaper!

What is Bambo-nature?

Bambo Nature "nappies" are just like ordinary disposables, but they have a much lower eco footprint. They are 80% biodegradable as apposed to the regular 35% standard of regular diapers; and are created with ZERO use of Chemicals, chlorine, optical brighteners, skin care lotions, perfumes, essential oils, or odor eliminators in the production process. This is better for the environment and for our children's sensitive skin! You can read more about their strict ECO production regulations and procedures on their website.

What are the Benefits of Bambo Nature nappies?
Bambo Nature Nappies are fully breathable just like a cloth diaper. They are non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and are designed to be  ultra-thin and ultra-absorbent with a unique layer that draws wetness away from baby’s skin, keeping baby dry and comfortable even with repeat wetting. And they are very user friendly!
My experience with Bambo Nature Nappies
When our bag of Nappies first arrived, I immediately opened then and changed Jade's diaper right away, I was so excited to try them. What I first noticed about the nappies was there was no smell! Just a breath of Fresh air! The diaper was soft not stiff and scratchy. The absorbent liner is very soft to the touch, much more than regular disposable diapers. The Print is cute, the fit is trim and fit my daughter well. And then I let her run around for the remainder of the day in the same diaper; I wanted to know how well it could contain a mess. It is definitely more absorbent than our other diapers!
My daughter is a heavy wetter at night and she also sleeps a long time at night. This is normally a horrible combination with regular disposable diapers. They just can't handle her without leaking. But when I got Jade up the next morning after 15 hrs of sleeping, you could see how much the diaper absorbed in addition to seeing the back half of the diaper that was still dry and could continue absorbing more! Plus NO LEAKS! So their claim that they are a very absorbent diaper was definitely accurate. In the 2 weeks we've been using the Bambo Nature Nappies, Jade has not once had a wet leak, a rash, or had a messy leak! Nor have we had a diaper rip on us–not one!
Bambo Nature Nappies have definitely become our new brand for Disposable diapers!

love the fact that there are no known bad chemicals used in manufacturing and also how good they are for sensitive babes (since I have one). I would totally feel comfortable using these as back up for when I didnt have my cloth diapers available for the reasons above and a zillion more!ticklemetiffy at gmail dot com
