Introducing the ASUS ZenPad S8 Just in time for Back to School + Giveaway

Back to school has arrived! And that means my tablets, my laptop and the family computer will all be designated for homework. Yes, more homework is required to be done on the computer or tablet now than ever before! But what does that mean for this busy mom who works at home and still needs access online? It means I need a new tablet all my own that I can still use even while the kids are doing their homework. And the new ASUS ZenPad S8 is just in time for back to school!

The new ASUS ZenPad S8 is quite a brilliant tablet! It is only 6.9mm thin, weighs just 317g, and has a 74% screen-to-body ratio, making it a larger screen for more viewing pleasure. It also features the ASUS VisualMaster which is a suite of exclusive visual enhancement technologies that optimize all aspects of the display resulting in an incredibly realistic viewing experience.

It also is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3530 processor and has 2GB RAM. That means you can enjoy fast web surfing, smooth video playback, great gaming experiences, and multi-tasking that doesn’t leave you waiting. For a busy mom who needs to get her work done quickly that is quite high on my list of priorities in a tablet. Who has time to wait for apps to load?

It’s also great for any college, high school, or even younger student who is using the tablet for homework or jotting down notes from class.

But not only is the Asus ZenoPad S8 great for studies and work, it has a lot of fun features too. Like the DTS-HD Premium Sound and SonicMaster technology to provide the ultimate audio experience. And the 5MP PixelMaster camera that captures stunning, high-resolution photos with zero shutter lag.

What I’m truly excited about is the Gorilla® Glass® 3 for the ultimate protection from scratches. When you have little kids always trying to grab your tablet, having a strong screen that can withstand scratches and damage is paramount!

The ASUS ZenPad S8 is great for those that work, as you can easily access all the sites you need for work at the touch of your finger tips.

For me that means easy access to our online social media accounts like Instagram. I can easily browse, post and interact. This is great as we are still working on our Nursery Makeover, and I’m often needing to update the sneak peaks on Instagram of each step of the progress.

But I can also access our blog to get work done, or reply to your awesome comments or answer questions.

But if you have kids, don’t worry they even have great MyAsus apps to help keep kids safe like the online browsing features and the kid safety app. Simply tap the Kids Mode app to open a safe area for your children . It has a browser with filtering and parental controls plus PIN codes to prevent access. You can even set a time limit on their usage.

When in Kids Mode, the browser can prevent access to apps and sites such as YouTube, Pornography or eBay if these terms are searched for by a child.
