Anyone else feel like your ability to multitask has increased tenfold since becoming a parent, and at the same time, your ability to remember things has dramatically diminished?
It’s amazing all the things I can do at the same time such as cleaning the kitchen while chasing a toddler, while helping the 7-year-old with her art project at the table, and breaking up the teenagers from fighting!
But can I remember that I’m running low on diapers when the husband asks if there’s anything I need him to pick up from the store before he comes home from work?
Total MOM brain! Totally spaced it.
So come bedtime, we are faced with the dilemma of no more diapers!
Over the course of our 13 years as parents, we have had these occasions at least ONCE with each child. It seems as though I tend to forget inbetween children the desperate need to keep a large stock of diapers on hand.
I remember one time, we were out with friends, and one of our boys (a baby at the time) had a massive diaper blowout. I went to change his diaper only to discover that our diaper bag was empty! No more diapers!
Our friends came to my rescue that day, but with a diaper that was much too small for my little guy. But it was enough to at least get him covered until we could rush out to the store and buy a new pack of diapers.
If you’re a parent, you’ve totally been here, right?
It creates a moment of panic, causing you to go “crazy lady” searching the house high and low praying you can find just ONE MORE somewhere to get you by until tomorrow.
And when you can’t find it, you end up in a mad dash to throw a half packed diaper bag (and sometimes half-dressed kids) into the car to drive across town (sometimes in the middle of the night) to go get more diapers.
But I’m here to tell you, you don’t have to face the diaper panic again!
After that frightful scare, I now stock up, and I stock up BIG. No more chances of running out of diapers in this house!
How to Save on Diapers
I like to buy our diapers at Sam’s Club because of the great deals to save money, and I’m able to rest assured I have plenty of diapers on hand all the time.
Pamper’s understands the struggle we parents face, and they want to help parents stock up as well. So right now, Sam’s Club has an offer for $10 off a purchase of 2 Pampers diapers or wipes items, or $18 off a purchase of 3 items.
And best of all, no coupon required! Because let’s face it, I would totally forget the coupon and leave it sitting on my kitchen counter!
Now we all know moms like to multitask, but moms also like to save time! Which is why I love Sam’s Club Scan & Go App! If you haven’t used it, you seriously need to rethink your priorities! It’s available for Apple and Android users.
Simply download it to your phone, scan in your membership card, add your payment information, and you are ready to shop!
You don’t even need to carry your card into the store now! Just open the app and show your card from the phone!
As you shop, simply scan the barcode of everything you are going to purchase as you put it into your cart.
When you are finished shopping simply check out via the app!
Your receipt will appear on your phone, and you can walk right to the door. Show them the receipt on your phone as you walk out, they scan it and you are on your way!
No need to stand in line at the checkout counters, no need to unload your cart, scan everything, and reload your cart again.
It seriously saves so much time!
While everyone else was standing in long lines waiting to check out, I just clicked the checkout button, bypassed it all and was done!
So now, I picked up my Pampers Cruisers diapers to make sure I never run out of diapers again, I have the Pampers Wipes to clean up all the messes, and I did it all in HALF the time it usually takes to shop at Sam’s Club.
Seriously what could be better than that?
Oh yeah, I saved $10 without having to use a coupon! Remember that deal?
You can also use Club Pickup, or just order your Pampers Online at Sam’s Club and still take advantage of the deal and have them delivered right to your door!
Now you can spend less time shopping, and spend more time making memories with the little mischievous munchkins you have running around your house.
When you Save on Diapers & stock up, how do you store your diapers?
Have you ever had a time when you ran out of diapers?
