As many of you know, we have a house full of boys, a dog and a cat. To say that we can get a smelly house is a little bit of an understatement. And when you have a kid with asthma, and the rest of the family with environmental allergies, improving our air quality is paramount. So I’m excited to be giving the Febreze™ Air Purifier a try.
Febreze Air Purifier great for pets
Now as a pregnant mama, my nose is extra sensitive. And having a Dog and Cat around is really bugging my nose. I mean I can spend some time outside then when I come in, I can smell the dog! Like seriously it smells like dog. And it drives me nuts. While we love our Odin, I do not like the smell of dog.
We don’t like the idea of just masking the odor with air sprays, or room sprays. No, we want to clean the air. Because like I said, our oldest has Asthma. And the rest of us deal with allergies to things in the air. So a Febreze Air Purifier was the right way to go for us.
The Febreze Air Purifier offers the ability to select the level of air filtering right at your finger tips with easy to control knobs. Plus it also uses a HEPA-Type filter that removes up to 99% of air pollutants! That means it can remove dust, pollens, danger, and dog and cat smell from the air we breathe! Let me just say my allergies are loving this! (Especially since being pregnant I am not able to take regular OTC allergy medications right now!)
But not only that, but it is a huge benefit for my son who suffers with Asthma. There are days when the city even puts out an air quality alert recommending people to not go outside due to the inversion issue of holding the smog, dust and pollens down in our little valley surrounded by mountains. And that is when having an household dust reducer really comes in handy!
The Febreze air purifiers uses 3 air-cleaning levels and a freshness scent control dial. And if great scent is what you are looking for the Febreze™ Air Purifiers are customizable with Replacement scent cartridges (linen & sky™ and spring & renewal™).
They come in Tabletop, Mini Tower and Tower size models to meet room size needs such as dorm rooms, bedrooms, offices, living rooms or anywhere dust and/or odors make the space feel less than fresh and clean.
It also features an Automatic filter and scent replacement reminders. Which is brilliant in my mind because I have the worst case of “preggo brain” and can’t remember anything at present.
Right now, I’m trying out our Tabletop Febreze air purifier near my office desk. Just because I’ve been working a lot and that is where I want the most benefit of fresh air quality. But I am also torn about putting it down into the son’s room. For a number of reasons, but the most being because 1. he’s a stinky boy and 2. he is the one with asthma so he would probably benefit the most from it.
But I’m still debating about where to really put it permanently. Maybe I will just have to get a few more Febreze air purifiers to scatter around the house to help each room have fresh air quality! But I’ll be back in a few weeks to let you know how it’s been working for our family, and how it helps to remove that stinky dog smell!
Where would you place your Febreze air purifier in your home?
